Shipping & Returns

The first thing to mention is that all pluka products are manufactured and shipped from Scotland in the UK.  Each order is different and takes different times to dispatch.  This page hopefully answers some of the questions regarding delivery and returns.

How much is delivery and how long does it take?

To keep charges simple there is a standard flat rate for each order.  There are 3 flat rates, one for the UK, one for the EU and one for North America.  No matter if you order a P91 or a spare part the delivery charge will be the same.

  • UK Flat rate for orders:  £4.95
  • EU Flat rate for orders:  £10.00
  • North America flat rate: £15.00

The delivery timescale for each order depends on the item and how it will be shipped.  A spare parts order will generally be shipped by mail and be shipped as soon after the order is placed as possible.  In 2017 the waiting time for a spare parts order would average 3 days from placing the order to delivery.  Larger items like the P7, P71 and P91 can take longer to ship as they may have to be assembled and have a waiting list.  So far in 2018 the waiting time from order to delivery of a P71 has been 5 working days, although from September to December this is expected to be around 7-10 working days.  If you wish to ask about stock and lead times please contact Andrew.  A customer ordering a P7, P71 or P91 from the EU may have to wait a few extra days as the shipping service may take longer.  Machine orders to the USA for a P7 or P91 will take longer as the 110volt motors are not always in stock.  If you are from the USA or Canada and are interested in the P7 or P91 then contact Andrew to see what the stock position is.

Can my order be delivered next day?

Andrew will always try his best to get any order dispatched as fast as possible but an overnight shipping is unlikely.  In 2017 the waiting time for a spare parts order would average 3 days from placing the order to delivery.  Larger items like the P7, P71 and P91 can take longer to ship as they may have to be assembled and have a waiting list.  So far in 2018 the waiting time from order to delivery of a P71 has been 5 working days, although from September to December this is expected to be around 7-10 working days.

Which courier do you use?

Orders are shipped by mail, parcel courier or pallet courier depending on what has been ordered.  The mail service is provided by the British Royal Mail, the parcel courier is TNT and the pallet courier is Palletways.

How do I track my delivery?

Only items sent by courier or pallet service can be tracked, we will e mail you once your goods have left our UK Depot, with a tracking consignment number. This tracking number enables you to log on and see where your goods are in the TNT network. If for any reason you do not receive a tracking number, call Andrew on 0044 (0) 7951 704651 and he will provide you with the information you need.  Alternatively you can contact Andrew by email.

Can I collect my order directly from the pluka premises?

Yes.  The website will always charge shipping on an order so if you wish to arrange an order for collection yourself without the flat rate shipping charge being applied then contact Andrew.

I wish to order a pluka P91 but I am from India and cannot order directly through the website?

If your country is not listed on the flat rate charges on the website then contact Andrew for a quote.

Returns

We have a no quibble returns policy which means if you are not satisfied with your goods, ordered the wrong size or simply don’t think they will meet your requirements, then you can return them to us within 14 days of purchase. We will either exchange or refund you no questions asked ( please note that items damaged by use cannot be refunded, and the original carriage charge will not be refunded ).  Always Contact Andrew or call Andrew on 0044 (0) 7951 704651 prior to making a return.  We do not cover the cost of returning goods and we recommend you use a recorded delivery method to return your items and insure the returned items as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit. Please retain proof of purchase.
